What is it about?
Vision of population ageing has been changing: it is more and more often seen not as an obstacle but a potential for development. However, appropriate policy approaches are still missing. To fill the gap, research and policy processes are to be better linked and coordinated.

I attempted to outline a general framework for policy measures in the area of ageing. Researchers, policy experts, and politicians have to establish truly innovative and productive models of cooperation to fill the still existing gaps between policy, research, and practice.
