What is it about?

In Japan, the ratio of female researcher is 16%, and far behind other developed countries. These day, Japanese government decided the numerical target to hire 30% of women researchers. Government have started the program to improve the condition of women researcher from 2006.

The participation of women is inevitable for the diversity in the innovation of science and technology.

Perspectives

I hope that the number of women researcher will be increased, and the promotion to the leadership position will also be increased in Japan.
