Why is it important?
The majority of opponents of the new constitutional system, especially of the 4th amendment to the Fundamental Law, anathematize this latest amendment as the final nail in the coffin of Hungarian (liberal) constitutionalism. There is also clear evidence that in Hungary, no matter what, the principle of majority along with a misinterpreted efficiency principle prevails over the rule of law.
