Why is it important?
It shows that Plato has a special solution for the modern problem of the relation of theoretical and practical philosophy as regards the ground forms.
Perspectives
Plato does not have to build a bridge for the fields of practical and theoretical reasoning. Ihe Idea of Good is supposed to have effect on the reality which can be understood only by means of the theoretical ground forms.
