A sensitive LC-MS/MS methotrexate assay capable of assessing adherence to methotrexate therapy in rheumatoid arthritis

What is it about?

Methotrexate therapy is central to the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. We present a novel laboratory method capable of measuring methotrexate to very low concentrations in patients' blood samples. This method has the potential to be the first used in monitoring adherence to methotrexate treatment in rheumatoid arthritis.
