Identification of macrotroponin T: findings from a case report and non-reproducible troponin T results

What is it about?

Although infrequently encountered, analytical errors have been reported for troponin I, however few studies have examined troponin T. In this study, we describe two analytical phenomena, non-reproducible results (fliers) and macrotroponin, that affects the quality of troponin T results.
