What is it about?
The aim of the article, written as a Letter to the Editor, was to comment the recent article of Lippi et al. (Practical recommendations for managing hemolyzed samples in clinical chemistry testing. Clin Chem Lab Med 2018;56:718-27.), and providing data about the frequency of in-vivo hemolysis in blood samples with gross hemolysis (free Hb > 10 g/L).
