Validation of a pneumatic tube system to transport surgical pathology biopsy samples

What is it about?

Albeit being widely used in surgical pathology laboratories, the impact of pneumatic tube-based transport systems on the quality of biopsy samples is few reported in the literature. This letter could help other pathologists to validate their own transport system in a method validation approach required for continuous quality improvement.
