What is it about?
The historical building of the “Bibliothèque nationale et universitaire” in Strasbourg has undergone a complete restructuring of its interior. The structural engineering was renewed on this occasion and the architects orientated themselves towards the newest technical standards in energetic renovation. The new reading rooms, which comprise several floors, provide an access to more than 200,000 volumes. The number of individual places of work was increased and the capacities of the stockroom for collections were extended.
