What is it about?

During childhood asthma exacerbations %-predicted PEF strongly correlates with %-predicted FEV1. However, absolute %-predicted PEF is not equivalent to %-predicted FEV1. Different %-predicted values of these measures of flow and volume might be used to designate mild-moderate and severe asthma exacerbation categories.
