What is it about?
YouTube is the second most frequently visited website on the internet and is a resource for patients and their families to learn about new diagnoses. We sought to evaluate the quality of information on idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) that is available on YouTube. We found that the information available on YouTube about IPF is generally low in content and quality, emphasizing the need for higher quality videos and patient education about this disease.
