Targeting Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Phenotypes, Endotypes, and Biomarkers

What is it about?

The biological causes of COPD are likely to be different in different subsets of people with the disease. Advancements in the treatment of COPD may require us to identify these biologically similar subsets, also called “endotypes”, using biomarkers, and to target specific biological therapies to each subset.
