A Man with Pleural Effusion and Patient–Ventilator Dyssynchrony

What is it about?

Patients needing mechanical ventilation for their breathing may not be fully synchronized with the ventilator. This can be difficult to determine. We show that using an ultrasound and looking at the muscles of breathing can help determine this.
