What is it about?
In this study case study method is exploited in order to combine entrepreneurs stories and longitudinal statistical facts of five high growth and highly successful (HGS) SMEs from diverse branch of industry. Development of these HGS SMEs have been analyzed all the way from the start-up phase to diverse development phases of the firms and entrepreneurs of the firm. The context of these firms is rural area (South East Finland).

This study highlight the complicity to reach longidutinal high growth and success of the firm. Moreover, highlight the entrepreneurial challenges that entreprneurs may face when they want to create and maintain high growth business in demanding business context (rural area).
Perspectives
This publication increase the understanding of long-term high growth and success development phenomenon and social point of view of entrepreneurial career development phases and challenges.
