What is it about?

South Asian economies are diversifying their trade in services. In this regards, smaller South Asian countries are showing their potential for trade in services on the basis of comparative advantage. Earlier, India had been enjoying the benefits of comparative advantage in services sector particularly in the IT and IT-Enabled services, however, other smaller economies of the SAARC like Sri Lanka and Pakistan now enjoys comparative advantage. This is what we know as kaeledoscopic comparative advantage.
