What is it about?

This paper takes a novel approach to understanding entrepreneurship in context. Rather than the typical view of entrepreneurship as an individual process we use place and community as our unit for analysis.

Why is it important?

The approach sheds new light on the entrepreneurial phenomenon and offers a different way of understanding entrepreneurship

Perspectives

We argue that it is important to have an understanding of entrepreneurship as a process which is, at the very least, influenced by context. Indeed we believe that careful consideration of context and its role in entrepreneurial formation and practice is essential for fully appreciating the nature of entrepreneurship.
