What is it about?
This book is the history of the indigenous movement in Ecuador and the development of its discourse, including concepts such as interculturality, plurinationality and Buen Vivir, Sumak Kawsay, Good Life. It is an attempt to understand the indigenous movement as decolonial on the level of organizations and discourse.

Why is it important?
This book contains a complete history of the indigenous movement in Ecuador and its organizations, based, mainly, on documents of the movement itself. At the same time, it attempts a concept-centered discourse analysis of the publications and public statements of the movement.
Perspectives
This was my PhD-thesis. A worthwhile and important enterprise, especially given that much research on this topic lacks empirical data.
