The deafening silence of Nigeria's federal government towards the chaos in the nation and perceived calculated reticence in response to social inconsistencies occasioned by the obnoxious and corrupt activities of the ruling clase, necessitated a linguistic perspective of people's reactions to the issues.

This article portrays the plight of ordinary Nigerians and is an affirmation that Nigeria needs serious restructuring of all sectors.
