Why is it important?

Products in season often have better quality or a longer shelf-life. In addition, when products are always available, we don't look forward to them anymore and foods do no longer connect us to the seasonal changes in weather conditions.

Perspectives

In this paper, we explore how considering seasonal differences in food supplies can improve our food experience when we eat, and its implications for our health and our living environment.
