Perspectives
A recurring motif in the work of author Thomas Ligotti centers on the idea of humans and/as puppets, manipulated by looming forces that render us rather pitiful creatures who unwittingly "dance to the bizarre music of our own misery" (his words). After some thought, I wanted to explore the connections between Schopenhauer's thought and this idea, from a communication perspective, of course.
