What is it about?

Concerns on the University-industry linkage have continued to linger and bothered the government, academics and practitioners in Nigeria, not only because of the apparent significance to general economic performance but also because of the continuous disconnect between theoretical renderings and pragmatic applications of government policies and institutional practices.

Hence, the implication of the findings of this study could play a vital role in providing theoretical and empirical insights for policy makers and practitioners in identifying the deficient areas hindering the university-industry collaborations for achieving the Science, Technology and Innovation agenda of the country.

Perspectives

The findings provide fresh useful paths for intensifying collaborations with industries and governments -to provide enabling policy environment for propelling innovative tendencies of the universities in Nigeria.
