What is it about?

My work offers an investigation of the Arab version of the American reality program "The Biggest Loser." Through the content analysis it applies to MBC's "The Biggest Winner," this study has proven that this show serves to promote the thinness ideal in the Arab World.

Why is it important?

The importance of this work emanates from the fact that it is one of the few studies that tackle "The Biggest Winner" program, which seems to be under-researched. It also seeks to establish a link between format adaptation and the promulgation of American values in the Arab World.
