Why is it important?

The article documents how, through the act of walking and documenting observations through creative practice, makers can ‘make visible’ the essence of place and plants. This approach can create a gateway to contemplation and discovery that prompts viewers to wonder about their own local plant heritage of place.

Perspectives

This research has provide space to share the knowledge of practice between two maker/researchers who share a love of wildflower walking. The process of comparing our use of walking and connection to place has given us insight into our individual methods of practice.
