What is it about?
This article introduces how 'craft' and 'articulation' can be intertwined with each other in craft education. This kind of 'crafticulation' is a part of practice-led research. It provides a new strategy for undertaking craft studies.

Why is it important?
It is important to develop new ways in which a creative process can be understood as a process of inquiry. Our findings show that working with theoretical mind maps and crafts can connect propositional knowledge to experiential knowledge and generate new insights into the role of craft in the academic field.
