Why is it important?
A regularized artificial neural network can be the basis for planning treatment of periodontitis. Early identification of aggressive cases is of immense importance in the overall prognosis of these cases.
Perspectives
The application of artificial neural networks on new unknown samples (verification) will allow us to safely use it in our daily practice (through a software application) for designing periodontal treatment.
