What is it about?

Have there been a lot of non-target impacts from weed biological control introductions ? No. There are basically four cases, of which two were self introduced (of 512).

Why is it important?

The overstatement of biosafety risks impedes the proposition of biological control, which can provide sustainable suppression.

Perspectives

This work was performed while I was on an OECD Fellowship in Montpellier. R Sforza was in the next office at the USDA ARS lab, led by my host Dr Kim Hoelmer.
