What is it about?
The effect of Tenofovir may not be clinically obvious in users of the drug. This work highlights some of the adverse effects that may go unnoticed. Tenofovir is a widely used drug that mostly considered safe to use. It is used in a fixed dose among most HIV drug regiments

Why is it important?
This is a though provoking and hypothesis generating work that will lead to more improvement of the use of Tenofovir in terms of clinical monitoring. The next question to answer will be the clinical significance of the findings in this research.
Perspectives
This work is very dear to me, I spent hours in every aspect of this including collecting the data. I worked very closely with co-authors in accomplishing this task. I did the data analysis myself with input from a local expert. I was glad to do this work as it was my thesis project and contributed to the fulfilment of my masters of medicine requirement.
