What is it about?

Genetic analysis of one specific promotor region of Cytochrome 450 gene to identify how their variations is related to serum vitamin D level in Bangladeshi adults. It was found that one of the specific alleles was associated woth low serum vitamin D level of the study population in this current study

Why is it important?

It can explain one of the causes of vitamin D deficiency in Bangladeshi adults

Perspectives
