What is it about?
Using this free app, you can freely examine the reliability of a test and each question using Classical Test Theory (CTT) and Rasch analysis. The tool can also assess test bias, perform fancy equating, and check for consistency between raters.

Why is it important?
As test developers and educational institutions, we have the responsibility to ensure that our tests are designed well. Using this app, you can engage in continual improvement of the test development process.
Perspectives
While working in commercially-focussed research units, I became frustrated that only private schools with sufficient funds were able to receive the expensive specialist consultation that our research unit provided to school test developers and teachers. Being an academic, I thought it was best to share the tools freely with everyone. I thought that this was most appropriate as the entire software was open source anyway.
