This study examines NBC coverage of the 2018 Paralympic Games and looks at the way the TV network framed gender and disability.

Why is it important?
This article give us insight into the ways women and people with disabilities are portrayed in sports media and helps sports broadcasters and journalists find more equitable ways to cover these groups.
Perspectives
This adds to my body of work examining media coverage of sports and gender by adding the intersectional factor of disability.
