What is it about?
This op-ed piece examines the irony of how harassment is illegal under Title VII, but the SAME behaviors without protected class distinction are legal (still) if one cannot say they are bullied 'because of...' race, gender, age, etc.

Why is it important?
Our community needs to understand that bullying can be more destructive than race-based or gender-based harassment.
Perspectives
Too many people face workplace bullying, which is similar to Title VII harassment. Bullies take advantage of the power differential between themselves and the target. By aligning bullying with Title VII, there is a compelling argument to prohibit such behavior in the workplace.
