What is it about?
This essay focuses on why I missed baseball during the 2020 COVID stoppage, and on how baseball succeeds in bringing communities together during certain types of crises (like 9/11 and the Boston Marathon bombing) but struggles to do so during times of racial crisis like 1968 and 2020.
