identifies how climate change may affect the water supply for farmers, ranchers, rural residents and rural communities. and the sometimes grim options that may be available to cope with climate change induced water shortages

Perspectives

Rural domestic water users usually have little or no protection during water shortages in western states. I wrote this article to try to identify some pragmatic if not always appealing options to deal with these water shortages, including using treated community sewage plant discharged water as an additional source of community drinking water.
