What is it about?

Digital technology could help Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations (VCSO’s) improve how they work. However, recent assessments have shown that VCSO’s have been slow to adopt digital technology. This study identifies reasons for the slow take up of digital technology for a Community Transport organisation. The key finding is that potential efficiency gains from digital technology is less important to the VCSO than delivering their social mission. Our recommendation is that slow and bespoke innovation is needed in VCSO's who were born before the digital age.
