What is it about?

Why is it important?
This is the only site of this type known in this part of Jordan, even though it's within 25 km of some well known and large settlement sites of the same period in northern Israel, such as Sha'ar Hagolan. The function of the site is currently unknown, even though it contains multiple substantial buildings as well as a lot of pits.
