What is it about?

We assessed 41 elbows in 31 patients with rheumatoid arthritis that underwent a Kudo type-5 total elbow arthroplasty from 1994 to 2003 and followed up for more than 10 years. The 10 years survival rate was 70.7%. It found that a short duration from onset of RA to TEA and a large preoperative ROM were significant risk factors for revision or aseptic loosening.
