What is it about?
We show the outcome of a single institution cohort of pelvic chondrosarcomas. Based on a competing risk model, we identified risk factors that might trigger the development of complications. As far as the competing risk model showed that complications have no negative influence on overall survival, an aggressive, surgical resection with the goal of achieving wide margins whenever possible should be considered as the mainstay of treatment.
