What is it about?
Theoretically, narrow forefoot width is related to a narrow intermetatarsal space, which can compress the interdigital nerve. In this study, this issue was evaluated by measuring the forefoot width in terms of the first to fifth intermetatarsal distance, intermetatarsal angle and intermetatarsal distance of involved web space on standing foot radiographs.
