What is it about?
Determining the peak growth spurt and point of growth cessation is important in scoliosis management to determine the best timing to initiate and terminate brace treatment. Current skeletal maturity predictors have flaws. The distal radius and ulna classification is shown in this study to be superior to commonly used maturity parameters in predicting both peak growth and growth cessation.
