What is it about?

This novel materials is a hybrid sunscreen from Tamban Sisik (Fringescale Sardiniella) bones to prevent from dehydration and sunburn up to 50 minutes. The Òsh bones were reported had 50 SPF by modifying the structure of calcium and phosphate with metal doping (Fe) as a good UV absorber. The active ingredient from Tamban bones can replace the existing active ingredient that increased the number of free radicals. For example Oxybenzone, TiO2 and ZnO as sunscreen agent in marketed product. Which is much more harmless and sustainable way to produce and use.
