Why is it important?

I believe that older people living in a care setting can benefit greatly from taking part in activities. Growing old need not be a negative experience. Taking apart in organised Activities can motivate individuals to have a positive outlook own life.

Perspectives

I have enjoyed over 50 years experience in all aspects of acre and I believe that the introduction of activities in a care setting has had a positive outcome for many older people and their families. It also has helped them overcome loneliness.
