What is it about?

Often times patients think that neuromodulators are the "magic eraser" for wrinkles. If we only treat patients with one modality we are doing them a disservice, especially since there are many other causative factors to aging. If you are finding yourself as an aesthetic provider increasing your patient's neuromodulator dosing every time they come in to achieve the same effect, it is probably time to add in dermal fillers into their beauty regimen.

Why is it important?

This article was written to give the patient's a perspective on understanding the causative factors of aging. It shows why using both neuromodulators and dermal fillers increases the efficacy as well as the patient perception of success.

Perspectives

Understanding the synergistic effects of blending neuromodulators with dermal fillers is essential in any aesthetic practice. Effectively communicating these concepts to our patients in an important part of our educational duty to them.
