Holistic care and having nursing diagnoses is essential in end-of-life, since interventions based on these ensure greater comfort and quality of life. We have shown for the first time that clusters of nursing diagnoses can have an impact on patient comfort and survival.

Our findings show that the cluster of nursing diagnoses is associated with the identification of greater comfort and better prognosis of cancer patients under palliative care.
Perspectives
I hope this article will help nurses to better identify less comfortable diagnoses and that it will be useful in helping nurses develop effective care plans.
