What is it about?
In this comment, the detriments of referring to mental health nurses solely by their agenda for change banding is discussed. A change to the traditional hierarchical structures in the profession is called for by recognising nurses' individual expertise.

Recognising the skills and contributions of nurses may facilitate an inclusive and respectful work environment, ensuring that high quality patient care remains central.
Perspectives
My intention in writing this article is to spark reflection and conversation whilst championing the critical role of the mental health nurse in facilitating high-quality, person-centred care.
