Integrated care in the NHS

What is it about?

Integrated care is new to the NHS and much misunderstood. This article explains the concept of the integrated care system and how it will be applied to the National Health Service in England

Why is it important?

Costs are going up, the demographic Tsunami is on the way, and the NHS still wastes money, irrespective of it spending less than half of American GDP on health. Integrated care is the new wonder drug for the NHS.

Perspectives

John Deffenbaugh
