Why is it important?

Concurrent leukoencephalomyelitis and polyneuritis in animals have not been reported in the literature. It may gain the knowledge on such disease in animals.

Perspectives

I hope this case report can inspire more investigation into the underlying mechanisms, especially the interactions between infectious agents or vaccination and host immunity, and CCPD-like cases to identify the true cause of demyelination in the CNS and PNS.
