Why is it important?

This paper provides an important value in Islam that can be added to the efforts geared towards attaining sustainable development in Africa. This is important in order for the idea of sustainability to be accepted especially taken into consideration the substantial number of the populace considered religiously conscious.

Perspectives

I hope this article appeal to the religio-spiritual conscious members of the community, this is because African governments approach to issues often disregard the core attitude of people towards their environment. Therefore, the message of governments con be hinged on spiritual cleansing, wealth redistribution and perfecting action all of which can be found in Zakat.
