What is it about?
Human stem cells are nature's self-renewing master cells, capable of generating every one of the numerous biological tissues in the human body. Their use in contemporary medicine for repairing organs and regenerating cellular tissues holds the promise of major treatments and cures.

Why is it important?
My findings show that ethical issues is at the heart of Stem Cell Research. Islam, through its ethical tradition can help in addressing some of the challenges. Thus, the contribution of Islamic law and ethical tradition can contribute to medical science by focusing on the Higher Aims of the Shariah.
Perspectives
I hope this paper shows the important of Islam in addressing various contemporary issues in our time. This paper also lead to application of Islamic Ethics to issues in the medical/physical sciences.
