What is it about?
CyLineUp is a Cytoscape app that allows the visualization of data in network small multiples in a very simple and user-friendly way. The app is easy to install and use. The data can be projected in networks generated by Cytoscape as well as in maps and pathways from other sources, such as WikiPathways and Pathvisio.

Why is it important?
Creating small multiples in Cytoscape can be a tedious and error-prone task for non-advanced Cytoscape users. CyLineUp makes this task easy, consistent and reliable for all users.
Perspectives
I am a frequent user of Cytoscape and often I need to compare results from different treatments in the context of specific pathways. CyLineUp made this task very straight-forward. I easily import the pathway I am interested in to Cytoscape and project data from the treatments using CyLineUp. The results are easy to visualize and the images generated have great quality to be used in presentations and manuscripts.
