What is it about?

Characterising the genomes of viruses provides us with important information about their transmission, virulence and susceptibility to antiviral treatments. The RNA virus, Hepatitis C, is an important human pathogen. Different strains are found throughout the world and specific mutations are known to induce resistance to antiviral treatments. Here we provide a high throughput method for sequencing the genomes of Hepatitis C.
